一 |     (ECNS) -- Alibaba’s on-demand delivery platform Taobao Flash Sale, also known as Taobao Shangou, has introduced a new safety measure that adds riders' waiting time at traffic lights to their delivery time allowance. Qingdao in Shandong Province is among the first cities to adopt this mechanism.    The system automatically detects when riders stop at red lights, displays “waiting at traffic light” on the navigation page and records the waiting time without requiring any manual input.    In the initial phase, the program covers all Taobao Flash Sale riders in Qingdao’s Jimo District, with plans to expand to more areas.    This initiative is part of Taobao Flash Sale's broader efforts to improve rider safety through technology and collaboration with local authorities. 二 |     Ottawa, Oct 13 (UNI) The Canadian government has imposed a fresh batch of sanctions on 17 individuals and three entities over “right violations” in Iran, Global Affairs said on Thursday.

“Today’s sanctions list 17 individuals and 3 entities that have participated in or enabled gross human rights violations, including against Iranian women, and perpetuated disinformation activities to justify the Iranian regime’s repression and persecution of its citizens,” Global Affairs said in a press release.

Since September 26, Canada has imposed a wide range of sanctions on Iranian officials, including members of the Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Morality Police, and other entities over the downing of Flight 752 and the authorities' responses to protests in the wake of the death of 22-year-old Mahsi Amini.
